The Polar Bear Mandala - Sterling Silver & Resin Necklace
Some pieces begin with no plan at all.
Years ago, on a cold wet Wednesday, I gave myself permission to stop working for a few hours and simply play. This was one of the pieces that emerged.
I wanted to create something that looked like a mandala, or perhaps a flower from a distance. Only when you look more closely do you realise that each petal is a tiny polar bear, quietly marching in circles.
It sat in my unfinished resin box for years until I finally rescued it for my 60 at 60 collection.
The 55mm resin disc is framed in sterling silver and suspended from a beautiful flat link sterling silver chain that catches the light as it moves.
I don't think I'll ever have another Wednesday quite like that one.

Delivery
This necklace is finished and ready to go. It just needs a quick trip to the Assay Office for hallmarking first, so please allow a short delay before dispatch. It will then be sent by Royal Mail.
