Simply Charming – Double Finger Snake Charmer Ring
Some pieces are definitely more Marmite than others.
I made Simply Charming years ago and she has been part of my own jewellery collection ever since. I've worn it, loved it and, despite the fact that the tiny fake plastic snake seems to put some people off, I absolutely adore it.
A miniature circus snake charmer and her snake sit inside a large pool of resin, surrounded by a substantial handmade sterling silver setting. Underneath are two silver rings, designed to be worn across two fingers.
And on the side, stamped into the silver:
SIMPLY CHARMING
I've recently taken the whole piece back to the bench, reset it and repolished the silver, and it's now ready to leave my own jewellery box and find a new home.
It's big, sculptural and definitely not a quiet piece of jewellery. Please look at the photograph of it being worn to get a proper idea of its scale. Due to how it's constructed it can be resized up or down! At the moment the ring sizes are R and S.
