Sea Glass, Sea Ceramic, or Recycled Stone Jewellery Workshop Saturday 14th June
Sea Glass, Sea Ceramic, or Recycled Stone Jewellery WorkshopJoin me for a hands-on creative workshop where memories and nostalgia meet craftsmanship. In this class, you’ll have the opportunity to bring a cherished piece of sea glass, stone, or a piece of jewelry you'd like to rework, and together, we’ll transform it into a new, wearable treasure in the form of a ring or pendant.
Throughout the day, you'll learn some of the foundations of silversmithing, including how to create a custom silver ring and a cabochon setting from scratch. I will guide you step by step, sharing my expertise in turning your personal keepsake into something truly unique and meaningful.
Whether it’s a found treasure from the beach or a broken piece with sentimental value, this class will allow you to breathe new life into it, creating a piece of jewellery that tells your story.
If you don’t have a piece of seaglass or old jewellery to recycle, Helen has a lot of options in the workshop you can choose from. If you’d like to use your own seaglass, pebble or old jewellery please message Helen after you book your course so she can check it’s suitable to use. On this course you can either make a pendant or ring – if you want to make a silver bangle or cuff, there is an increased price – check the options when you book.
There is only time in one day to make one piece of jewellery so that does rule out earrings and cufflinks. If that is something you'd like to do Helen can always create a custom course for you - just ask!
Perfect for beginners or those with some experience in jewellery-making, this class offers a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill while connecting to the past. I can’t wait to share this experience with you!
Class runs from 10 am to 3.30pm (ish). All silver/sundries and sea glass (or cabochon stone) is included
Relax and unwind with us for the day! You'll be greeted with a hot drink on arrival, and during the day there is plenty of tea, coffee, cakes or biscuits to fuel your creativity! Please note lunch is not included - please bring a packed lunch or we have the option of a lovely local cafe as well.
