Midget Gem Pendant – I Was Made For Sunny Days (No. 2)
A tiny swimmer. A little pocket of endless summer.
This one-off Midget Gem captures a miniature girl floating happily in her rubber ring, suspended in soft blue faceted resin and framed by hand in sterling silver.
Finished with a stamped silver tag reading “I WAS MADE FOR SUNNY DAYS,” it’s a little tribute to those childhood summers that seemed to last forever - salty hair, warm skin, sandy feet and absolutely no plans except staying in the water for as long as possible.
This piece is part of the original Midget Gem collection - a simpler pairing of resin world and stamped silver tag. A cast sterling silver shell from my New Zealand shell collection can be added for £22 if you’d like an extra splash of seaside nostalgia.
