Midget Gem Pendant – I Was Made For Sunny Days (No. 2)
This one-off pendant captures a tiny girl floating in a rubber ring, suspended in soft blue faceted resin and framed in sterling silver. Paired with a stamped silver tag reading “I WAS MADE FOR SUNNY DAYS,” it carries a quiet nod to childhood freedom - the feeling of endless summer afternoons, salt water, warm air, and nothing to do but float.
Midget Gems were originally designed as a simplified duo - just the resin world and the tiny stamped tag. For this piece, you can add a cast sterling silver shell from my New Zealand shell collection for an additional £22, if you want to bring in that extra touch of seaside nostalgia.
Each Midget Gem is made as a small-but-special necklace — more attainable, giftable, and easy to wear every day, while still carrying the tiny storytelling at the heart of my work. Perfect to wear on their own or layered with other Helen Noakes pieces.
