Midget Gem Pendant - Here Comes The Sun
This one-off pendant captures a tiny seaside moment inside a clear faceted resin gem. A woman in a bathing suit stands on real Cornish sand, holding her beach towel and bag, framed in sterling silver and paired with a stamped silver tag that reads “HERE COMES THE SUN.”
The sand inside this piece was collected by Helen on the Cornish coast and sealed into layers of transparent azure resin. A small scene that carries a quiet message: after long grey days, the sun always finds its way back.
Midget Gems were originally designed as a simplified duo - just the resin world and the tiny stamped tag. For this piece you can add a cast sterling silver shell from my New Zealand shell collection for an additional £22, if you’d like a touch of extra story and texture.
Each Midget Gem is made as a small-but-special necklace - more attainable, giftable, and easy to wear every day, while still carrying the tiny storytelling at the heart of my work. Perfect to wear on their own or layered with other Helen Noakes pieces.
