"Ice Queen" ring - Sterling Silver & Resin
This one has been mine.
"Ice Queen" has travelled with me to shows and exhibitions, been packed into suitcases, crossed borders and spent a fair few years on my hand.
But 60 at 60 was always supposed to include pieces from my own jewellery box, and I've decided it's time to let this one go.
I've given her a complete refresh, sanding and repolishing the resin, and she's looking glorious and ready for a new hand.
A tiny figure skater in pink is suspended in resin, caught mid-spin, and set into a resin dome on a handmade sterling silver ring. Turn it over and ICE QUEEN is stamped across the silver back.
It's big, bold and beautifully simple from a distance. Then you get closer and discover the tiny skater.
The ring is currently a size O½. I've deliberately left the resin unset so that I can resize the silver ring before setting her back into place..
