“Growing Up Is Giving Up” Necklace — Sterling Silver & Resin
A quiet refusal, worn close.
This sterling silver necklace centres on a hand-poured resin charm featuring a tiny punk figure — caught mid-gesture, unimpressed, and not buying into the idea that maturity equals surrender. Alongside it hangs a hand-stamped silver tag reading “Growing up is giving up”, paired with a hand-pierced sterling silver anarchy symbol, cut by hand in my studio.
The necklace hangs from a long 75 cm chain made from sterling silver chain offcuts, deliberately pieced together to create something a little irregular, a little unconventional - and entirely unique.
Defiant without shouting. Subversive without trying too hard.
