Commissions are truly personal. They’re about a connection between people, a shared experience, they’re about capturing a story, and that’s what I have devoted my jewellery-making life to — translating a special moment in time into a bespoke miniature world.
You may have memories that want to be retold in resin and silver, a keepsake waiting to become treasure, gold or sentimental stones you’d like reused. Tell me your story and I’ll turn it into a piece of wearable art – a tiny world you that is undeniably yours and undeniably a ‘Helen Noakes’.
We begin with a simple conversation, no pressure or commitment, just an email or chat about what you have in mind.

Resin used not to show off, but to protect – to hold something fleeting exactly as it is. The whole piece hangs long and still, like it knows it shouldn’t rush. Fine jewellery commissions are designed and handmade from scratch, often reusing your sentimental gold or stones. Use the form below to tell me your story and share what you’d like us to create – perhaps a necklace, a bangle or a ring capturing the essence of a memory, person or place, maybe using an object or materials that matter. There’s no commitment at this stage. I’ll reply with a few thoughts or questions to help clarify what’s possible and explain the next steps.
Where possible, everything is made in-house, from wax carving and silverwork to the final resin pour. For specialist stages like casting and hallmarking, I work with trusted partners who meet the same high standards. You’ll receive updates as your story takes shape.
Your finished piece will arrive beautifully packaged with full hallmarking details, ready to keep or to gift. Lead times vary depending on the design and time of year, but most commissions take between 4 and 8 weeks from design approval to completion. If you have a specific deadline in mind, let me know early on and I’ll do my best to meet it.
Your story may be sad or hilarious or it may be triumphant. I may capture it in a way that makes no sense to anybody except you – a private joke, a talisman. I look forward to hearing from you…
